Beware of Stroke

IN the Philippines, the second stroke in 10 major fatal diseases. Some 110 Filipinos deaths daily due to stroke. People with age, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and even having a stroke.

Two types of stroke:

A stroke is a disease in which the nerves in the brain-clogging (medical term: Ischemic Stroke). Because our brain controls the movement of the body, usually the weak hands or feet of a stroke. Other possible symptoms of stroke lisp, numbness, headaches and blurry vision.

There is also a second class of bleeding stroke where the brain of patients with crack root (medical term: Hemorrhagic Stroke). Often high blood pressure of these patients.

Ways to prevent stroke:

Keep blood pressure less than 130 over 80. When your blood pressure is 140 over 90 or higher, which means you have high blood pressure and need to see a doctor.

If you have diabetes, keep fasting blood sugar is less than 120 mg / dL (6.7 mmol / L). The normal blood sugar level is 100 mg / dL (5.6 mmol / L) or less. Diabetes damages the nerves of the brain. Treat it.

Examined the cholesterol levels in the blood and keep it at 200 mg / dL (5.2 mmol / L) or less. High cholesterol can cause blockages in the brain. Reduce intake of fatty and greasy foods.

Do not lat be fat. Learn the proper weight and force it to reach.
Stop smoking. A stick of cigarette is 10-20 mg of nicotine is bad for our roots.

Limit or avoid drinking alcohol.  Drinking alcohol was more likely to be an accident and stroke.

Do not use drugs. The drug is still a main cause of stroke in young people.

Avoid air pollution. According to the analysis in Taiwan, more stroke when the dirty air around.

Avoid hot areas. According to Professor Chun-Yuh Yang, the hot weather, many people have a stroke. Avoid the sun from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
